My Sunday Photo

mussels

These are delicious mussels from a food foraging day out, freshly picked from the rocks around Oxwich Bay in the Gower. Then prepared by my husband, and served in a creamy sauce with a side salad and crusty bread.

Simply wonderful.

Thank you, we love mussels in our house. So lucky to know where to go to pick our own.

  2. There can’t be anything better than benefiting from your own hard work. I’m allergic to sea food but the crusty bread sounds wonderful.
xxx Hugs to you all xxx

      Hi David,
That’s a shame you can’t eat seafood. It’s one of my favourite foods. It was a tiger loaf so extra crusty, and went great together.
Think because we got it ourselves it was even better!
      Take care,
      Kim

Hi, thank you. The mussles were amzing. I am very lucky that my husband is a chef and it means I don’t have to cook them.

It does help that my husband is a chef, very lucky to have someone who knows how to cook mussels.
